Micah Slivers, a senior at Ganado High, won the Division 3 boys championship race at the Arizona Interscholastic Association state final at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. Slivers covered the 5-kilometer layout in 15:55.1, rallying in the final 50 meters to surpass Michael Urbanski of Salpointe Catholic to capture the crown and help the team secure seventh place overall with 240 points.
